Happiest Thanksgiving to Date

Due to Sanders arriving just before midnight on Tuesday, we stayed in the hospital until Thursday, instead of going home on Wednesday. We were supposed to be able to leave on Thursday morning and we were anxious to do so considering that it was Thanksgiving, but because of some unexpected testing, we weren't discharged from the hospital until 1:00 on Thursday afternoon.

Home with our very own butterball!

Candles were twinkling throughout the house and everything was sparkling clean. It was clear that my parents had been busy! Our garage had undergone a bit of magical organization, some leaves had been raked and bagged, and my front flower bed had been cleaned. My mom had even washed the mud spatters from the lower siding across the front of our house. Most impressively, every detail and dish of the Thanksgiving meal consumed our 7 foot dining table and awaited our indulgence.
Sanders asks that you please excuse his girly bouncer seat. It was given to him by a girl and he loves it, he just wishes his mama would hurry up and sew a quick slip cover already, so he could stop being embarrassed!

  1. Megan, I just wanted to say congratulations on your sweet baby boy! What a wonderful blessing! He couldn't be any cuter. :) And I'm sure you've heard it a million times, but I love his name! Enjoy every little moment as a mama! -Emily
